Rewired AF Santa Fe 360 Alco PA

The original wiring was a mess of old cloth insulated and spliced in plastic wire segments.
The original wiring harness removed from the engine. Good riddance.
The original cloth insulated wire passed through 1/4" diameter holes. The new rainbow wire will not fit. Grommets for it are shown.
The holes are milled out to become larger ovals.
Now the rainbow wire fits nicely and the grommet will keep it safe.
With and without rainbow wire.
Completely rewired with new rainbow and 22AWG SuperFlexi wires.
New brushes were also installed, and both chassis's re-bushed. Truly a new lease on life for this classic American Flyer locomotive.
